Dorothy Scott Willard JOHNS ISLAND - Dorothy Scott Willard, 76, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away, November 22, 2022. Married to Anthony Willard for 51 adventurous years, Dorothy was born in Glendale, California on November 4, 1946. Dorothy's love for adventure began at an early age, spending her childhood in a variety of states and countries, before attending Occidental college, where she earned a B.A. She then went on to earn her Master's degree from the American Graduate School of International Management, where she met her future husband. Dorothy was a live-life-to-the-fullest partner, a wonderful mother, a loving friend, and a brilliant economist. She was insatiably curious, creative, faithful, and true. She grew up between California, Kuwait, Algeria, and Texas. While married she lived in Canada, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, and the US. In each location, she created a home, friendships, faith, and fun. Dorothy had so much to offer everyone she met with her engaging stories and her earnest interest in the lives of others. We are forever grateful. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Willard and her children, Scott Willard and his wife, Rachel Willard (3 children), Weston Willard and his wife, Anna Willard (2 children), and Amanda Willard and her husband, Michael Ott (2 children).
