I am so sorry that Dorothy is gone. I knew her first as mom's best friend when I was a child. As an adult I will never forget her letting us stay with her during Hurricane Hugo. She was a blessing to us, and the family that was stuck here from out of state! I have fond memories of your mom and wife and know that she is gone way to soon.

Bill, Linda, Buddy, Ralph Jr. and Richard...My heart is very heavy today remembering my "bestest" friend but I'm so glad God put her in my life along with you! I am so thankful I got to spend a little more time with her over the recent holiday and that Richard allowed me the opportunity to speak to her on the phone in the hospital! I will miss her dearly!

My favorite memory of Dot is when she and I decided in 1974 to change the world, one school district at a time! Our decision to get one of us on the school board and one on the PTA seemed like only a dream that day, but by the Grace of God...we did it! It was only the beginning for us to make such a difference in people's lives. She had more common sense than anyone I knew and a telephone that was always humming with friends, needing her help and advice!

Don't forget...she did make a difference to many! She must have a beautiful mansion waiting for the rest of us to see! Thanks for sharing her with the rest of us!
