Dear Elizabeth and Mark, and your families - your Mom was important to our community, and a dear friend to my own mother -- she was also significant in my own childhood as the loving mom of a dear friend. I feel so for you as you experience this loss, and pray that you will find comfort in joyful memories of your lives with her.

Mark and Elizabeth, So sorry to learn of your loss. Your mother has left a lasting legacy of invaluable service to Beth Elohim.
From the overnights we spent at your home in Summerville in our early teens, your Mom was the one who kept us on our toes. She didn't cotton to slackers and she did not suffer fools gladly. She was a great role model.
May her memory be a blessing.

As a child growing up in Summerville, Doris and her late husband, Dr. Roy Meyers, were like family. To us kids, they were Aunt Doris and Uncle Roy and to my dear parents, very best friends. Doris' creative and charitable spirit taught us much about unselfish giving and what it truly meant to be a Woman of Valor.Doris lived by example, setting high and loving standards to us all. I admired, respected, and loved her like a TRUE aunt. She taught me many values . I was indeed blessed to have my Aunt Doris in my formative years. I will carry her many teachings with me, as I pass them on, truly making my memories be a blessing to me and those that come after me. We were all so fortunate to have Aunt Doris as part of our extended family. She taught us what it meant to live a good life, leaving good memories-a true blessing to have received!
