In loving memory of a wonderful person, my best friend Donna.
We have been friends since childhood and have been there for one another throughout the years.
I was your maid of honor, godmother to your first born Jerode, and I spent a lot of weekends at your home in my younger years.
After I moved away we still kept in touch and you came to visit me in Virginia and Texas.
I will miss your smile, laughter , kindness and the beautiful person that you are.
You are my best friend and always will be even in death. I miss you so much and can´t believe you are no longer with us. I love you and your family and will always be there for them.
Rest In Peace my dear friend.

Donna was one of the kindest people that I know. She was quick to give you a smile and say something that would make you laugh. She was always welcoming to me whenever I saw her. I love that her personality was always the same. She will be missed. Family, be strong and hold on to those precious memories that she left for you. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Sweet Donna, always ready to share a laugh, give a hug, and plant seeds for Jesus. She was one of the first people at St. Francis to share the gospel with me and for that I will always be grateful. She had a peaceful, gentle voice and a deep chuckle that was contagious.
Her love for her family was so very beautiful. In fact, she'd always speak so highly of her husband Freddy that one day at lunch someone joked that she better stop telling other females how great he was or they might try and go after him... She stopped smiling, put on her "security guard" face and said,"They gotta get through me first." Boy, did we all laugh and trust me she NEVER stopped bragging about him.
Her love for her kids and their kids was just as big. She spoke so sweetly and proudly of them. She often told me about how much she loved spending time with them, especially in her bedroom. She described such a lovely room and said they all just enjoyed hanging out together in her "big comfortable bed."
The way she described that room made me want to ask her to adopt me...but now she's got a new room...one that Jesus himself promised to prepare and I bet that she LOVES it.
She certainly will be missed, but she is with her Savior now. For all those who place their hope and faith in Jesus its not good bye forever to Donna, just for now.
