Donna Caputo Obituary

Donna M. Caputo JOHNS ISLAND - Donna M. Caputo of Johns Island entered into eternal rest on August 23, 2009, at the age of 70, after a courageous battle fighting leukemia. Visitation beginning with a brief wake service will be held at the James McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy, on August 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, 120 Broad St., Charleston, on August 27, at 10:00 a.m. Donations in Donna's memory may be made to either the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Dearest John and Family,
Words can only begin to express the sorrow that we feel for you all. We never had the opportunity to physically meet Donna but we know that she was a very unique and gentle soul. Please know that we have you all in our prayers and are here if there is anything we can do.
Please take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and no longer suffering. She was a very couragous lady and left this world with her grace and dignity.
