Donald R. Bilton HOLLY HILL, SC - Donald R. "Don" Bilton, 79, of Holly Hill, husband of Mary Russell Bilton, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at his home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Holly Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Cooper Stonestreet officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery. Don was a son of the late Samuel Washington Bilton and Annie Ruth Ard Bilton. He was owner of the former Bilton Furniture Co. and was currently employed by Boyd Furniture. He was a member of the Holly Hill Lions Club and was a former member of the U. S. Army Reserves. Don was an active member of Holly Hill UMC where he was a former trustee. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Bilton. Surviving are his wife of Holly Hill; daughters, Hope Bilton of Holly Hill, Donna Bilton and Tammy Feagin of Statesville, NC; sisters, Ann (Bill) Hill of Winston-Salem, NC, and Marie (Ralph) Williams of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Larry (Joan) Bilton of Spartanburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Avinger Funeral Home.
