Dennis was a gentleman and a scholar. He was truly a long reigning mayor of Peachtree Center in Atlanta, where he also held court many evenings, while also working it seemed. I wondered if he ever went home. Hard to believe he has left us. He was our client and friend.
He will be missed by many.

Dennis was a regular at Pacific Rim, I happened to ask the bat tender, he pointed to Dennis saying he should know. Thus I learned his name and since then we learned we had a lot in common though I grew up continents apart. He adopted me as his architecture family. A shock to hear about his demise! I learned so much about Atlanta from him where I have a showroom since 1996

I am one of many who had the good fortune to meet Dennis at the bar while having dinner and a drink at the Pacific Rim in Atlanta. Dennis held court there weekly (if not nightly) in a role I dubbed as Mayor. Ever thoughtful and kind, his magnanimous personality drew countless individuals into stimulating and meaningful conversations, turning strangers into acquaintances, and in several cases, cherished friends. He was a kindred spirit for me, coincidentally discovered, someone I so looked forward to catching up with on my semi-monthly trips from Chicago to Atlanta. I will miss Dennis greatly, but I know his good spirit will be with me and guide me as I press on in my days to come on this good earth. God bless you and keep you, dear soul Dennis.

We used to chase tadpoles and sail wood in the ponds as little boys. Godspeed.
