David Soens Obituary

I knew the day I met Dave that we'd be pals. We talked about surfing, skiing, and EVs... what a mix! I just learned of his passing & we're all a little worse for it. I hope he's shining down on us from a black-diamond ski-slope in heaven or on a longboard waiting for a wave. Rest well brother, it was damned good to know you. -Allen

I was heart broken to hear about Dave. I always loved Dave he was always nice to me and always made me feel welcomed. Dave was just a down to earth good guy that welcomed and loved everyone regardless. Had some good memories with Christy and Dave and the kids and I will always treasure and cherish those memories in my heart. Love you Christy and keeping you and the kids in my prayers. Dave was a man in all ways. He and I shared family and work stories and strategy. I will miss him as a friend and brother in this world. I know he loved his family most of all and was always trying to make everybody´s life better. Love ya, Dave!

Our deepest condolences to The Soens Family. Dave was one of Avalon´s finest, a friend to all, and loved by his community. We are so sorry for your loss, there are no words, but we pray that God will embrace your family whose hearts today overflow with grief, unanswered questions and such a sense of loss. Please grant them space to express their tears, hold them close and give them peace in the coming days.

I met Dave for the first time at his wedding to my first cousin Christy. His shining personality will live on in our hearts and we shall treasure the time he was a member of our family.
