To Harry & Family
I first Met Your father in 1973 as an apprenctice in Shop 11 under his teaching as a mechanic in the shipfitter trade. He inspired me after learning of his rise to his repected position in the shop through difficult discrimination years when he entered his profession he was one of the first Blacks to earn the Mechanic trade position and was respected by the entire shop as an excellent in all facets of his trade. He was willing to share his expertise & experience with the young Apprentices in his charge and encouraged the young blacks to strive for high positions in the work place. I was priveleged to be one that was forever impacted by this truly good Man.

Minister M. Odom and Family: My prayers are with the family in the loss of Deacon Manigault. He always kept a smile on his face and I'm blessed to have met him. I know he was a godly man and is in "Paradise" rejoicing with his bride. The absences of a love one presence is hard, but continue to keep God first and He will be your comforter. Many Blessings and Much Love....

To: Shalana and family,
Your dad was my deacon along with Deacon David L. Hunt. I was so blessed to have such wonderful men of God as mentors and role-models in my life. Thanks for the years of sharing your dad with so many others. I will always remember him joking and teasing me even as an adult. I have such fond memories of my childhood growing up at St. Matthew Baptsit Church. May the love we all have for each other get you through this our and know God will take care of you. I can't forget to mention your sweet mother as well.

To The Manigault Family,
Prayers go out to your family doing these times. Deacon Manigault was my deacon growing up @ St. Matthews. He would ALWAYS great me with a smile and ask how was I doing. If I missed church, he would let me know "missed you last Sunday".
Whenever I visited St. Matthews, there's was that smile, greating me, letting me know how glad he was to see me, and I him.
He's resting now with the Lord. Smiling down on us. Take your rest Deacon Manigault, Keep smiling down on us and I pray that one day I will see that smile again.
