Dear Colleen & family,



John and I are so sorry to hear of David's passing. Our hearts are filled with sadness as we remember that kind and gentle man. God Bless you and your family. We feel blessed to have known this fine man.

Dear Hal - it is hard for me to find the words to express the depth of sadness I feel over the death of David. His gentle, loving and unassuming ways are a tribute to Charlotte and Henry and a legacy for his children. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Karen and young Charlotte, Colleen and the children, Cornelia & her family and David's parents and family.

Dear Colleen - I was very surprised and heartbroken to read in the paper that David had died. I think fondly of the great meals at the house with Charlotte & Henry, and you and David, and Hal.

I remember you telling me that the first time you saw David he was walking across the parking lot at the mall and you said to yourself, "I'm going to marry that man." What a wonderful blessing that you did. What a love story your time together has been. And is. And will be.

With deepest sympathy to the Coste family: May God's love guide you during this time of sorrow and may you find solace in His loving care.

I was sad to have learned of David's demise. David was a kind and gentle man. I met him years ago at Rump where he worked on my car. I must say he was indeed a man of integrity. Iam Charles Errington Coste grand son.

The greatness of a man should not be measured by the small space he occupies in death but rather the hugeness of loss in the hearts of those he knew in life. For such a simple unpretentious gentleman David has left a giant void of loss that only a great deal of time and kind memories can fill.

What a wonderful person David was. I grew up with David and we all hung out at the "clubhouse" on Sullivan's Island. Although I have not seen him since those days as teens, I remember him as a very kind person with that wonderful smile. My sincere sympathy to his family and may you be comforted to know that many people thought of David as a special person and even though many years have gone by, still a friend.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.
