Daniel Stanley Obituary

Daniel "Charles" Stanley, Sr. N. Charleston - Mr. Daniel "Charles" Stanley, Sr., was born on February 12, 1955, to the late Mr. Lloyd Dwight and Ms. Florine Stanley. He was the husband of Mrs. Betty Stanley. From this union two children were born, Daniel Stanley, Jr. and LaKisha James. Charles became a member of New Webster United Methodist Church in 1975 under th leadership of Reverend Goodwin and Mr. Willie Smith, his class leader. During this time, he was also a member of New Webster's Young Adult Choir. He was educated in the public school system of Charleston County. Over the years he worked at many companies throughout the Tri-county area. Charles had a personal relationship with the Lord, he was known to quote many Bible scriptures. He had a passion for dancing, winning all of the local dance contests along side his dance partner and cousin, Sadie Bell. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his son, Damon Mack; his brother, Lewis Stanley; his niece, Lataysha Walker; and grandnephew, Larry Grayer. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving mother, Ms. Florine Stanley; his siblings, Mrs. Helen Campbell, Ms. Evelyn Walker, Mr. Junior Stanley (Rose); his sister-in-law, Mrs. Judy Stanley; his aunts, Mrs. Helen Brown and Mrs. Lillie Mae Brown; his uncles, Mr. Frank Stanley (Marie) and Mr. Robert Smith (Lillie Mae); his nieces, Ms. Rosemary Campbell, Ms. Erica Walker, Mrs. Stacy Simmons (Theo), Mrs. Chiffvon Washington (Michael), Mrs. Valerie Smalls (Clifford), Ms. Tyeshia Walker, and Ms Tawanna Stanley; his nehews, Mr. Hodges Campbell, Mr. Lavar Walker, and Mr. Derrick Stanley; devoted cousins, Mrs. Delores Peterson and Mrs. Barbara Stanley; a special friend, Mr. Jerome Henderson; and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
