Dana, Fonda, and the rest of Dan's family,
I am so sorry for your loss! I don't remember ever meeting Dan, though I of course knew who he was, but I do remember that he had an excellent reputation! Evidently that continued throughout his life! Prayers for all of you!

To Fonda, Julian, Rae, Wilson, Jean, Dana & Aunt Thelma:
My heart has been aching ever since I got the news from David about Dans passing. Dan was one of the most loving, compassionate and giving persons that this world will ever see. As long as I can remember, Dan always said that he wanted to be a minister and I remember him making us sit behind Grandmas house, under the tree and listen to him preach when we were very young kids. As we grew older, I didnt get to see him as much when I moved out West, but always got updates from Mom & Dad on what he was doing in his life. They truely loved Dan and his family and it meant the world to me when he officiated their funeral services. I asked him to read a letter that I had written to mom and he graciously read it for me. A few years ago, when I was completing my BS degree from Liberty University, I called Dan and asked him if I could interview him by phone about his role as a Counselor in the church. He of course said yes and we talked for several hrs, so as I could complete my assignment. Dan was a bright light wherever he walked and changed the lives of so many, by his presense and love of God. If each person could only be half of the man he was, this world would be such a better place. Dan, I will miss you, as many will and I want to thank you for all the love and teaching of Gods love that you gave to others -there will never be another like you and I was blessed to have you as my family. I love you.

We are so shock to hear about Rev. Inabinet. He visited Scotts Williamson family at McLeod hospital. I had the privilege to talk with him as he consoled our turmoil. He was a gracious man and shared his love for God and Gods goodness. We thank you as a family for sharing him with us. May Gods peace be around you at yes time.

I Remember Dan and his sister on the Kings Grant Swim Team. He was a good swimmer. He always had a smile on his face and loved the Lord. WE would pray and sing a lot on the team after swim meats. Good times. God bless your family.
Gods peace. We have hope in the Lords coming again when we shall be together again one day.

Dan was my 2nd cousin - son of F. M. Julian, Jr. He seemed like a fine man and definitely answered a calling to serve the Lord. His grandparents - Milas and Vera Julian - were so proud of him. He did a fine job officiating at F.M.'s funeral a few years ago. Although we did not get to know or see him and Dana very often, I know he will be missed by his family and all those who knew him. Condolences to all of you. .. Mary (Singleton) & Jerry Harvey

I went to school with Dana, Jay and Fonda and later I was blessed to have Wilson and Jean as my Sunday School teachers.....what an amazing group of brothers and sisters in Christ.....my heart hurts for each of you. Though years have passed and life has separated our paths, I will always remember fondly my time at Summerville Baptist Church and the example of this loving family. I got to know Dan more after he committed his life to serving the Lord. He had that infectious grin and such a willingness to be there for and serve others. I thank God for Dan's life, his commitment and his example. May God's peace be in each of your hearts until the day your family is reunited.

My deepest sympathy the family of this wonderful, kind and thoughtful man. My husband and I were blessed to have Daniel come into our lives as hospice Chaplain. I could never thank him enough for the support and kindness he showed to us during my husbands last days. Even after my husband passed he continued to follow up to make sure I was okay. He was my angel here on earth ❤

A life well lived, a loving family - Daniel was also blessed with two of the best parents a son could have. In reading his obituary, this was confirmed tenfold. Jean and Wilson, you should be so proud - - to have raised such a fine, highly respected, and much loved son. My heart breaks for all of you. I know God will get you through this.

He was a light in my life while I was going through several surgeries and couldn't attend church so I watched him on television every Sunday. My husband also watched and always wanted to have a hairstyle like his and even tried to let it grow out in the past several years but it never looked like Daniel's. Everybody who has ever mentioned his name has had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Go rest high on that mountain Daniel....your work on earth is done. Psalm 139

Daniel was assistant pastor at First Baptist Florence when we first met him. My two teenage daughters loved him. He was such a wonderful example for our youth. We moved from Florence in 2000 but kept up with him through social media. He was a friend of Shirley Mace of Marion, SC, a speech therapist who was so very important to our family. Prayers to his family and many friends. Heaven is richer for his presence. Strength and comfort to his wife and children and all who loved him.

So sorry to hear and read about Daniel's passing. Althrough I had limited time with Dan, I always went away from his presence feeling encouraged, even on the days he was down / deep in thought. Thank God for the opportunity to have met Dan, have lunch with a couple of years back, and the opportunity to call him my friend and partner in ministry. May God's comforting Holy Spirit comfort the family during these days of grief. One day, your mourning will turn to dancing...but right now, focus on mourning in the presence of the Living Lord.

FROM UNIFORM TO WINGS
Thank you for your service you're now with the King of Kings
You've traded in your uniform for a pair of angels wings
You were such a blessing to everyone you knew
You went above and beyond the job you had to do
As much as we miss you we know you're not in pain
And our loss here on earth has become heaven's gain
Now it is with gratefulness we release you to the Lord
Enjoy your eternity for you have earned your rewards

Absolutely heartbroken to learn of the unexpected and sudden passing yesterday of a lifelong friend. Dan had such a zest and zeal for life - truly a man of God. We went to school in Summerville and spent many years on the King's Grant Swim Team - he was one of the best - and he was always a joy to be around. He was truly one of the nicest people you would ever want to know and always so positive. It was both an honor and privilege to be his friend. Keeping Fonda, his daughters, Dana, and his entire family in my thoughts and prayers during this time of unimaginable grief and sorrow. He will truly be missed and fondly remembered - by everyone. The world is a sadder place without him. Godspeed, Dan.

Dan was one of my childhood friends from the riding bikes and scraping knee days. He, I and Mark Dreps would play for hours looking for old golf balls to playing in ditches. Those were a similar time and we were always seeking new adventures. As we grew up, we grew apart as adulthood leads us all in different directions but never lets us forget those formidable years. Dan came to Summerville 5 years ago and married my childhood sweetheart and I. I love him as I would if he had been my brother and will miss him dearly. I pray for Gods healing hand on his family and congregation as I know how much he meant to him all. I am a better man for him being in my life as are so many others and I will see him again one day on the other side. God Speed my friend and brother.
