So many 605's knew of or were privileged to work with of for Dan. He always had a smile and a great memory - after years of not seeing him, he recognized me. He was a fountain of knowledge and one of the finest men I ever worked for. He will be missed by many, but we all have a Dan Fling story. God Bless his family, and Dan, we'll see you later !

My condolences to the Fling Family. Dan was a great American who devoted his life to the service of his country. I knew him as a fellow service member in the air transporation community. He was always respected for his dedication and professionalism. May he rest in peace and know that the world is a better place due to his sacrafices. V/R Bill Powell
