Daniel Bevis Obituary

BEVIS, Daniel CLEMSON - Daniel Dan Lee Bevis, 48, of 346 Clemson Street, died Monday, May 30, 2005. A son of Anniell Rudisill Bevis and the late John Henry Bevis, Jr., he was born in Anderson. He was self-employed as a Property Manager. He loved the outdoors and hiking. Dan was an extensive collector of Native American artifacts and a member of The Piedmont Archaeological Society of NC and SC. He was a member of the St. Andrews Catholic Church in Clemson. Surviving in addition to his mother is his twin brother, David Bevis (Ginger) of Goose Creek, SC; brothers, Jay Bevis (Janis) of Valdese, NC, Billy Bevis (Lek) of Clemson, and James Bevis (Perrin) of Clemson; sisters, Beth Jordan (Mark) of Clemson, Barbara Pearson (Phill) of Greenville, Jeanne Smart (Bill) of Wood Stock, GA, and Judy Diehl (Alan) of Philadelphia, PA; 19 nieces and nephews and many close friends whom he cared for deeply. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Burial will be in Old Stone Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Marfan Foundation, 22Manhasset Ave, Fort Washington, NY 11050.
