CW was a fabulous volunteer years ago....always loved his quirky humor and tell it straight style. The world lost a wonderful man - my heart goes out to family and friends.

A childhood friend has been lost too soon! I hold dear memories of Wayne from when those of us in the neighborhood spent time together - birthday parties, playing ball on sunny winter Saturdays in the field next to Tommy B's house, and of course all the good times in school. Yes, those were wonderful times which leave us with wonderful memories of Wayne! My deepest sympathy goes to Wayne's family. My mother Maxine Hudson who taught at North Charleston High says she has fond memories of Wayne from our childhood and from school and to send her condolences since she is not online. When we were talking of Wayne, she could still describe him perfectly from all those years ago!

I am so sorry to learn of Wayne's passing. We were neighbors growing up and had a gate between our yards. I ran into Wayne at a motorcycle shop about 10 years ago where we reminisced about old times. Derryl and family please know that the thoughts and prayers of all the Kennedy's are with you! RIP my friend Wayne!

I got to meet Mr Benton on last Friday and despite the pain he was in he was a very pleasant person. If only I could have met him when he was not in so much pain. My heart goes out to the family but know that he is in a better place with no more suffering.
