Dear friends and family of Mr. Stanfill,

I only knew Mr. Stanfill for a few months. My dog Tann Mann and I visited him weekly on Friday mornings for Therapy Dog sessions.

While I love all of the men at the VA, I have to say, Mr. Stanfill truly touched my heart with his humor and kind, kind eyes. He loved the animals, and though his health was failing, never failed to reach out to say "hey, baby" to the dogs and pet Tann Mann and visit with dog owners.

I will miss him greatly and I know my dog will, too. Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss of a truly special person and family member.

Our prayers are with you...PS..He truly loved his owl stuffed animal. It was always with him and he said it gave him great comfort.
