Betsy Dunlap Obituary

Betsy Campbell Dunlap N. CHARLESTON - Betsy Campbell Dunlap, 76, of North Charleston, SC, died Friday, March 4, 2011. The relatives and friends of Betsy Dunlap are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends, at the funeral chapel, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, one hour prior to the service. Betsy was born December 6, 1934, in Clover, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Howard Campbell and Marie Jackson Campbell. She was a teacher at Roger's Kindergarten in North Charleston. She was a wonderful homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Her church membership was at Fellowship Presbyterian Church in North Charleston and later at Providence Lutheran Church in Lexington. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Dunlap Maziarz, and her husband, Steve Maziarz of Garland, TX and Ellen Dunlap Hall and her husband, Duane Hall of Lexington, SC; six grandchildren, Lester Thomas, Billy Thomas, Emily Thomas Ledbetter, Wesley Hall, Tyler Hall and Seth Hall and four great-grandchildren; Katie Thomas, Elika Thomas, London Thomas and Adam Hall; a sister, Joan Martens of Isle of Palms, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Louis Dunlap. Flowers will accepted, or donations may be made in Betsy's name to The Alzheimer's Association, 2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130, Charleston, SC 29407 or to Providence Lutheran Church, 840 Old Chapin Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
