Charleston - Bethany Frances Conner, 36, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on October 16, 2025.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Folly Beach Baptist Church.
Bethany was born on January 12, 1989, in Portland, Maine, to Michael Allen Conner and Tara Sturgeon Conner. She grew up on James Island.
Bethany had a deep love for music and possessed a remarkable natural talent. She could play nearly any instrument she picked up, bringing joy to those around her through her creativity and passion. Fishing was another of Bethany's many talents. She was well known locally for her skill, frequently earning recognition in area fishing publications for her record-setting catches.
Bethany was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Martha Sturgeon, and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Rylan Ellis Dorsey and Andsley Frances Conner. As a treasure to many, she will be missed by loving family members and dear friends.

Bethany was a beautiful, smart, sweet and loving person. I am so grateful to have known her. We worked together for a while and became close friends. We enjoyed cooking, baking and sharing recipes! My condolences to the family. RIP sweet girl.
