Do not stand at my grave and weep/ I am not there, I do not sleep/ I am a thousand winds that blow/ I am the diamond glints on snow/ I am the sunlight on ripened grain/ I am the gentle Autumn's rain/ When you awaken in the morning's hush/I am the swift uplifting rush/ Of quiet birds in circled flight/ I am the soft star that shines at night/Do not stand at my grave and cry/ I am not there, I did not die. Memorials may be made to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race St. Charleston, SC 29403. Her guestbook may be signed at www.JamesAMcAlister.com. Arrangements by James A. I had the honor of first meeting her over fifteen years ago, in January 2000. I had the pleasure of going to visit her at the assisted living home, just a few years ago, and she seemed to remember me. I always enjoyed her outspoken mind, and opinions. She could definitely be blunt, and honest to a fault. You will be missed, "Yia Yia" ~ Love you <3
