Miss Me -- But Let Me Go
Unknown
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little--but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me--but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss Me--But Let me Go!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Weeks family. Mrs. Bertha loved God, her family, and her church (St. Peter's AME) and she will be missed - but Jesus prepared an eternal home for her in heaven and on Friday, January 1, 2010 the home was ready for her to occupy it.

There are no words to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family.
While there is nothing I can say that will ease your loss, I wanted you to know that I am grieving and thinking of you all. I pray the love of God enfolds you during your difficult times and He helps you heal with the passage of time.

She an angel now watching over the family. May she rest now in peace and forever more. Keeping the whole family in prayer.
