Berniece Jordan Obituary

JORDAN, Berniece CONWAY - Berniece Cannon Jordan, 79, of Conway, died Monday, January 5, 2009, at Conway Medical center. She was born December 25, 1929, in Nichols, SC, a daughter of the late Emory Lloyd Elliott and Ella Smith Elliott. She is also predeceased by two brothers, Billy Elliott and Lloyd Elliott. Mrs. Jordan attended Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Burnie F. Jordan of Conway; two daughters, Brenda Cannon Stuckey of Murrells Inlet and Wanda Cannon Sigler of Kingstree; one son, Victor Leo Cannon (Bobbie) from Georgia; one step-son, Burnie Carl Jordan (Judy); three step-daughters, Joanne Gerald (Jimmy), Joyce Singleton (Robert) and Theresa Rabon (Eddie) all of Conway; two sisters, Peggy Hutson (Jim) of Charleston and Evelyn Newell (Joe Thomas) of North Charleston; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. Tommy Bryson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
