Barney Bostick MONCKS CORNER - Barney "Mark" Marcus Bostick, 1972 - 2024, owner of Pappy's Jr. Restaurant in Moncks Corner, SC. Barney "Mark" Bostick, 51, passed away on June 3, 2024 in Ladson, SC. Mark was born in Charleston, SC on July 25, 1972. He was a graduate of Hanahan high school in 1991, where he played football. Mark worked in the restaurant business his entire life, finding enjoyment from cooking and bringing joy to his customers. He founded Little Pappy's/Pappy's Jr. Restaurant in Moncks Corner, SC in 1992, where he worked tirelessly feeding and entertaining the community for decades. He was well-liked throughout the community for his entertaining personality and generous spirit. Mark was a member of Berkeley Lodge #269 AFM, Omar Shrine Center, and Berkeley Shrine Club. He is survived by his 3 children, Bailey Bostick, Joseph Bostick and Jonathan Bostick, his mother, Faye Holmes, and his sister, Lisa Bostick Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, Alanson Holmes. A Viewing will be held at Berkeley Shriner's Club on Tuesday, June 11 at 10am, with Masonic Funeral Services and a Celebration of Life to follow.
