Barbara Summers Obituary

SUMMERS, Barbara BRANCHVILLE - Mrs. Barbara Babs B. Summers, 51 years of age, died Tuesday March 25, 2008. Mrs. Summers was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late James B. Berry Sr. and Doris S. Berry. She was a lifelong member of the Branchville United Methodist Church, made her career in Nursing, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid flower gardener, and a lifelong resident of the community. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday March 27, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. at The Branchville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gradie Corder and Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in The Ott Cemetery in Branchville. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the church, and at other times the residence, 4806 Cattle Creek Rd. Survived by her husband, J. Steve Summers of Branchville; one son, J. Matthew Summers, (Kristi) of Branchville; one daughter, Somer Lynne S. Haigler (Ryan) of Cameron; one brother, James B. Jim Berry Jr. (Mitzi) of Branchville; two granddaughters, Keelie Kitt Summers, and Kambell Kole Summers both of Branchville, and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
