Barbara Mullis Obituary

MULLIS, Barbara Doris Barbara Doherty LoCascio Mullis, 79, of Summerville, wife of Junior Edward Mullis died Monday, March 12, 2007. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 3 o'clock at Miles Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 61, Charleston. Memorials may be made to: Miles Road Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 816 Miles Road, Summerville, SC 29483 or Alzheimer's Associations, Coastal Carolina Chapter, PO Box 80459, Charleston, SC 29416. Mrs. Mullis was born August 31, 1927 in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Edward Stanton Doherty and Lucy Laura Gwynn Doherty. She was a graduate of Miami High School, Miami, Florida and attended Florida State University. She retired from BellSouth as a customer representative. She was active member of Miles Road Baptist Church. Surviving are, son, Al LoCascio of Charlotte, NC, son, Edward LoCascio of Miami, FL; daughter, Barbara Saverino of Summerville, daughter, Laura McKenzie of Johns Island; son, Michael LoCascio of Florida, son, Richard LoCascio of North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Jeff, Michelle, Barbara, Alexander, Edward, Glenn, Lauren, Michael, Ryann and Nathan; three great-grandchildren, Bridgett, Sophia and Alayna.
