Barbara Hardee Obituary

HARDEE, Barbara WALTERBORO - Mrs. Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Seigler Hardee, wife of Robert Eugene "Gene" Hardee, died Friday afternoon at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. She was 62. Barbara was born in Walterboro on May 13, 1945, a daughter of Dorothy Ilderton Seigler and the late Hubert Berlis Seigler. She was the manager of Security Finance in Walterboro for many years, and was a member of Bedon Baptist Church, where she was active in the Jewel Francis Group. Barbara loved life...and loved her family. She enjoyed spending time fishing and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was truly a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a dear grandmother. Surviving, in addition to her mother and her husband of 46 years are three children, Terri H. Youmans and husband Joey of Walterboro, Mike Hardee and wife Wanda of Walterboro and Tina H. Pye and husband Mickey Joe of Cottageville. There are two sisters, Joyce cone and Lynn Starks, both of Round O. Barbara has four grandchildren, Heath Youmans, Ashley and Hailey Hardee and Michelle Pye. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hubert Randolph "Randy" Seigler in December of 2007. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Eric Bjork officiating.
