Arnold Jerome Snipe, Sr. MT. PLEASANT - Mr. Arnold Jerome Snipe, Sr., 70, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and the husband to Reverend Peggy Conyers-Snipe, transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Snipe's, Sr. funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 12:00 Noon, in Olive Branch A.M.E. Church, 1734 N. Highway 17, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. Mr. Snipe Sr. will be viewed on Friday evening, August 29, 2025, at the church, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest in Olive Branch A.M.E. Church Cemetery. Mr. Snipe, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew & Rosalind Snipe, his brother, Maurice Snipe and his granddaughter, Michelle Horlback Snipe. He leaves behind to honor and celebrate his life and legacy his beloved wife, Reverend Peggy Conyers-Snipe; children: Ashley Shala Snipe (Roberta), Arnold Austin Snipe, Jr., and Alton Ameen Snipe; siblings: Andrew Snipe, Jr. (Gloria), Milton Snipe, Jacquelyn Snipe, Myra Snipe - Richardson, Timothy Snipe, Sr. (Renee), Alfreda Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
