Anna Horning Obituary

Anna Ruth Horning N. CHARLESTON - Anna Ruth Horning of North Charleston, widow of Russell C. Horning, began her vacation in Heaven, on February 9, 2011. Ruth was born in Meyersdale, PA, to the late John H. Albright and Annie Albright. She lived most of her life in Johnstown PA, but moved to Grantsville MD, before relocating to North Charleston to spend time with her immediate family. Ruth was a flawless seamstress, homemaker, and craft maker with many talents. One of which was passing the word of God to four generations. Ruth was a beautiful and amazing woman as well as a loving mother and grandmother. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Anna Dover of Ladson, SC, her granddaughters Denise L. Sealy of Stockton, CA, Joyce Kephart Adair and Paula Joyce Huckabee, of North Charleston, her grandsons Russell W. Kephart of Las Vegas, NV, and James R. Dover, of Hanahan. Ruth also leaves behind several great and great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service is planned for Sunday February 20, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., at Flowertown Baptist Church located at 1305 Boone Hill Road, Summerville, SC.
