Anna Di Gennaro Summerville - Anna Di Gennaro, 79, of Summerville, wife of 53 years to Bruno Di Gennaro, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Friends and family are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens. Anna was born on September 10, 1942 in Palena, Italy, daughter of the late Guerrino and Assunta Di Martino. She was a hair stylist and in retail for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include: children: Antonella Di Gennaro, Bruno Di Gennaro (Dawn), and Cristina Conklin (John); grandchildren: Bruno, Jr., Nicholas, and Christopher Di Gennaro, and Kayla and Brianna Conklin; siblings: Antonietta Di Martino, Anthony Di Martino, Lucia Fiorentini; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael Di Martino and her brother-in-law, Frank Fiorentini.
