Ann Willard CHARLESTON - Ann Glaus Willard, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Lindy Davis Willard, died on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at The Palmettos Assisted Living Facility in Charleston, South Carolina. Born Saturday, February 15, 1930, in Charleston, South Carolina, Ann was the daughter of the late Grover Jackson Glaus and the late Mattie Way Glaus. Ann was a member of Northbridge Baptist Church in Charleston, South Carolina. She taught swimming lessons to children and loved to sew and travel. Along with her parents and husband, Ann is predeceased by daughter, Amy McCullers; sister, Doris Davis and her husband Herbert; sister, Helen Blanton and her husband Tom; sister, Janice Johnson; and brother-in-law, Rayford Lackey. Ann is survived by sister, Shirley Lackey of Beaufort, South Carolina; brother-in-law, Lee Johnson of Lancaster, South Carolina; daughter, Nancy Mitchell of Islandton, South Carolina; son, Steve Willard of Charleston, South Carolina; and son, Jack Willard of Adams Run, South Carolina. Ann is also survived by grandchildren, Bryant Murray of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; Brandy Gibson of Charleston, South Carolina; and Stevie Willard, Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob, Dustin, Bailey, Madison and Chad; and several wonderful nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, July 8, 2013, at Magnolia Cemetery, Green Hill Section, 70 Cunnington Avenue, Charleston, South Carolina 29405.
