Alma Floyd Obituary

Alma Freeman Floyd Summerville - Alma Freeman Floyd, 80, of Summerville, widow of Neal Floyd, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at Trident Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Floyd was born February 22, 1941 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Ashby Freeman and Ruby Timmons Freeman. She worked at Doschers Red and White for over 30 years and after retirement she enjoyed being a bingo caller. Survivors include three daughters and one son: Frankie Shaw Moran (Graylnn) of Florence, Maynard O'Neal Floyd (Phyllis) of Summerville, Diane Floyd Hyman (Ted) of Summerville and Lanette Floyd Bradshaw (Michael) of Ladson; eight grandchildren: Graylnn Moran, Jr. (Katlyn), Tige Moran (Suzanne), Hunter Floyd (Liz), Hillary Deering (Cory), Ashley LeMay (Chris), Aubrey Hyman (Lauren), Christopher James (CJ) Bradshaw and Bailey Grace Bradshaw; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother: Martha Flynn and Owen Freeman and several nieces and nephews.
