Albert Cantrell Obituary

Albert Cantrell McMinnville, TN - McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, Albert Cantrell, age 88, was born July 19, 1929, and died November 17, 2017, at his residence following an extended illness. Retired from the military with 30 years of service as a United States Air Force veteran of Vietnam and a retired minister at Salem Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Jeneral B. and Della Drake Cantrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Lila Marie Webb Cantrell; second wife, Lucie Inez St. Germain Cantrell; daughter, Della Toomer; two brothers, Alvin Cantrell and Andrew J.R. Cantrell; and sister, Alma Cantrell. He is survived by seven children, Albert J. Cantrell of Phoenix, AZ, Shellie Hargenradar, Jerome Cantrell and David Barry, all of Charleston, SC, Sarah Reese of McMinnville, TN, Paul Barry of Georgia, and Peggy Oliver of Alabama; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. (CDT) Monday, November 20, 2017, in High's Chapel with Ben Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, Warren County, TN, with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
