Violet Pennington Obituary
WILLISTON - Graveside funeral services for Violet Widener Pennington, 84, of Williston, SC were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Violet passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.
Born in Aiken County, SC she was a daughter of the late Jessie Abram and Nettie Widener and was married to the late James Rudolph Pennington. She was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons Billy Pennington of Williston; Ted (Connie) Pennington of North Augusta; grandchildren Austin Pennington, Brandon Pennington, Dawn Pennington and Marie Brown and a sister Tina Smith of Seneca, a nephew and nieces. She was preceded in death by her brother J.P. Widener; sisters Alberta Vinson and Mary Smith.
