Ulysses Simmons Obituary
WILLISTON, S.C. - Funeral Services for Deacon Ulysses Simmons, Sr., 76, of 1931 Old Barnwell Road, Williston, SC will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Summer Grove Baptist Church, 2465 Old Barnwell Rd., Williston, SC. with Pastor Rev. W. J. Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service.
Deacon Ulysses Simmons, Sr. died Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was son of the late Rev. Jackson & Effie Tony Simmons.
Friends may call the residence of, 1931 Old Barnwell Rd., Williston, SC or Simmons Funeral Home of Williston. Visitation will be held Friday, July 4, 2014, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Simmons Funeral Home of Williston, SC. Simmons Funeral Home of Orangeburg is in charge of arrangements.

To the Simmons Family, may God bless and strengthen you at this time of your sorrows. I was sorry to hear of Mr. Simmons passing but I know that he heard the word and was around prayer and praises. I do believe his soul is at rest now.
