Troy Wahlmeier
AUGUSTA, GA - TROY WAHLMEIER, 56, beloved husband of Lisa Cheadle Wahlmeier, died Monday, November 27, 2017 at AU Medical Center after being involved in an automobile accident.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Troy was a son of the late Robert George and Oleane
Franks Wahlmeier. He grew up in Huntsville, AL and was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran. He lived in Augusta for the last 30 years and was a security specialist with AlliedBarton Security Services. He was a member of First Christian Church of Aiken.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Lisa, include a sister, Linda Hughes, Lawton, OK; a brother, Ken Wahlmeier (Corene), Huntsville, AL; a brother-in-law, Jeff Payne, Huntsville, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jesse and Linda Cheadle, Aiken; a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Payne and his twin brother, Ronald Wahlmeier.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, December 1st from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral will be Saturday afternoon, December 2nd at 2 o'clock at First Christian Church of Aiken with Pastor Keith Weekley officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery with military honors.
