Tim Hart
Aiken - THERON E. "TIM" HART, JR., 71, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta, GA.
Born in Travelers Rest, SC., Tim was a son of the late Theron E. and Rosalie Sanders Hart, Sr. He grew up in Aiken and graduated from The University of South Carolina. He had various careers in the insurance industry.
Survivors include two step-sons, Derek Halberg (Christy Johnson), Wake Forest, NC, Evan Halberg, Columbia, MO; two grandchildren, Caden and Nora Halberg; two sisters, Patricia Hart Cooper (Mays), Travelers Rest, SC, Kathy Hart Poe (Jim), Travelers Rest, SC; a brother, Steve Hart (Bea), Aiken, SC.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, June 17th from 3 until 5 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Monday afternoon, June 19th at 2 o'clock in Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery, 881 Tigerville Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Friends of the Animal Shelter (www.fotas.org).
