Stephen L. Brown
AIKEN - STEPHEN LeROY BROWN, 55, beloved husband of Catherine Greenhill Brown, died Monday, February 19, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Aiken County, Stephen was a son of the late Austin L. Brown, Jr., and Carolyn Goodwin Brown Mayberry. He lived in Arlington, TX in the late 1990's and early 2000's working with American Airlines as a supervisor and trainer. He returned to Aiken in 2009 after living in Hilton Head. He was a member of Bucksnorts Cigar Club, Aiken Horsepower and was a former member of Arlington, TX Cigar Club, Arlington Elks Lodge and Lamar Baptist Church in Arlington.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Cathie, include two sons, Christopher Stephen Brown, Addison LeRoy Brown (Kimberly), Aiken; six grandchildren, Austin LeRoy Brown, Katie Morgan Brown, Ella Mae Brown, Reagan Joan Brown, Christoph Brown, Anna Brown; his sister, Teresa Roberts (James "Red"), Aiken; his brother, Stanley Brown, Aiken and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be Thursday afternoon, February 22nd at 1 o'clock in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, GA with The Rev. Dr. Brad Willis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to AW2 (U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program) or to Veterans K9 Solutions.
