Sadie Young Obituary
SNELLVILLE, GA - Ms. Sadie Mae Young, age 90, formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Snellvile, GA passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at her home in Snellville, GA. She was a native of Sumter, SC and lived in New York for sixty years, working as a Title I Educator in the New York School System. She was the daughter of Levy and Sarah Fullard Young. She leaves to cherish many fond memories; her daughters, Deborah Goodwyn Mitchell, Jacqueline Travis, and Antoinette Goodwyn; grandsons, Majazz Travis, Najee Travis, and Brandyn Myer; a niece, Melissa English-Rias; two great nephews, Bazlee Rias and Bailee Rias, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM (Viewing from 10:00-11:00 AM) Saturday, July 20, 2024 at JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 126 Fairfield St., SE, Aiken, SC 29801, 803 649 6123 with Rev. Kenneth Sanders, Officiating. Burial will follow in Jessamine Memorial Gardens, 625 Allison St, Aiken, SC.
