Ronald Silton Obituary
AIKEN - RONALD HELMUT SILTON, 71, beloved husband of Christine Spinde Silton, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Born in Erfurt, Germany, Ronald was a son of the late William and Gertie Roehrborn Silton. His family immigrated to the United States and settled in Butler, New Jersey when he was 3 years old. Ronald earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. He had lived in Aiken since 1988 and retired from the Savannah River Site. He was a communicant at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 37 years, Christine, include two sons, James Silton and John Silton, all of Aiken and a sister, Dorit Sklow, Toms River, NJ.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Wednesday afternoon, September 21st at 3 o'clock at Old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
