PERRY SMITH Obituary

SMITH, PERRY B. - age 93 of Lenoir City passed away Monday, November 3, 2014. He was a veteran of W. W. II serving in the U. S. Army in France and Germany. Perry was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of Sixth Avenue Church of God. Perry retired from Martin Marietta K-25 Plant and later from Kroger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Martha Smith; wives, Evelyn Smith and Mary Arwood Smith; granddaughter, Alison Smith; son-in-law Arthur Brown and brothers, Fred Smith and Willard Smith. Survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Laura Smith, Eddie and Beverly Smith; daughter, Ann Brown; grandchildren, Angela Higgins, Chris Smith, Keith Pickens, Kaitlin Smith and Amanda Lafollette; great grandchildren:, Kye Ungar, Rex Beggs, Gracyn Smith, Wyatt Pickens, Jake Pickens and Taylor Pickens; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 6th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Shuler officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery with military honors conferred by the Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
