Dearest Family, We were so very sad to learn of Uncle Odell's passing. What a joy it was to call him UNCLE. He will be greatly missed in the Rodgers family as he was certainly an icon for us in so many ways. His quiet manner, his interesting stories of his service to our country and his gentle ways will be sorely missed. Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to each of you, Jimmy, Sammie and Dannie. May he rest in peace with Aunt Daisy and Steve. So sorry we could not be with you for the service, however, you were in our thoughts and prayers as you said SO LONG FOR AWHILE to your beloved father and our beloved Uncle.
