NELLIE WILLIAMSON Obituary

WILLIAMSON, NELLIE LOUISE - 76, went home to be with the Lord January 1, 2014. A gathering of her family and friends will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Jefferson House located at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home. A native of Forsyth County, Nellie was the daughter of the late Mable New and Samuel B. Crews. She had worked at the Hyatt House in Winston-Salem and the Lucia Corporation. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband Billie H. Williamson. Survivors include her sons Michael Downham and Peggy of Kernersville, Terry Downham and Debra of Midway, Ronald Downham and Sandy of Gilbert, Arizona, and Robert Downham and Gwyn of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren Thomas, Michelle, Brandy, Joshua, Joanna, Billy, Christopher, and Danny; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Courtney, Kelsey, and Alaina; sisters Catherine and Shelby; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
