Marion Sapp
BEECH ISLAND - Marion Sapp Age 76, entered into rest on Fri., Oct. 6, 2023 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Thurs., Oct. 12th at Bean Pond Baptist Church, Jackson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A public viewing will be held from 3PM-7PM on Wed., Oct 11th at St. Phillip Baptist Church (51 St. Phillip Rd.), Beech Island.
Mr. Sapp, a native of Aiken County was born August 14, 1947 to the late Marion Trottie and Irene Glover. He was a lifelong member of Bean Pond Baptist Church and sang with the Gospel recording group, Sons of Faith. He retired from The Keebler Company after many years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Sapp of the home; three sons, Chris Sapp, Charlotte, NC, Craig Sapp, Augusta, GA and Rodney (LaTasha) Moseley, Yelm, WA; five daughters, Vevelyn Sapp, Beech Island, SC, Sharon Sapp, Clearwater, SC, Irene (Jeff) Sapp Robinson, Augusta, GA, Susan Sapp, Gloverville, SC, and Shaunte; (Antonio) Evans, Duncan, SC; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond (Ree) Sapp, Beech Island, SC, Leonard (Veronica) Trottie and Willie Hazel both of Augusta, GA, and a bonus brother, Tony (Parri Lee) Wright, North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Roberta (Charlie) Roberts, Beech Island, SC, Barbara (Roosevelt) McGruder, Augusta, GA, and two bonus sisters, Tina Shaw, Bath, SC and Leslie (Johnny) Dobey, North Augusta, SC; five aunts, Mary Lee Wright (Bonus Mom), Agnes Robinson, Gloverville, SC, Ophelia Moore, Edgefield, SC, Lena Mae Sapp, Warrenville, SC and Victoria Sapp, Gloverville, SC and a host of other relatives.
