Marilyn Rogell Obituary

Marilyn Rogell
AIKEN - Marilyn Rogell passed away Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born in New Haven, CT on October 25, 1934 and lived most of her life in New Haven, CT and Aiken, SC.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Jack Weiner and Mrs. Evelyn Thurman Weiner; and her husband: Mr. Martin Rogell.
She is survived by her daughter: Pamela Rogell Boyd (Gary); son: Evan Rogell (Marcie); grandson: Jacob Boyd (Rachael); granddaughter: Jessica Boyd; and great-grandchildren: Moshe, Avraham, Yosef, and Chaya.
Mrs. Rogell began her career as a dental hygienist after graduating from the University of Bridgeport. After moving to Aiken in 1975 with her husband, Mrs. Rogell became a fixture in the Aiken community as the office manager for the late Dr. William J. Boykin's dental office. Her love for the patients extended past the dental office as she enjoyed seeing patients in the community and watching their families grow. She was an avid antiques collector and dealer in the Aiken area, and lover of all animals, especially cats.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Rd, Aiken, SC 29801.
