AIKEN - Lucille Antoinette Jarbeau Clark, 95, widow of the late Robert Louis Clark, Jr. faded into the gentle sleep of death on Friday afternoon, November 11, 2022 at the NHC Healthcare in North Augusta, SC following an extended illness.
Born in West Warwick, Rhode Island on November 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Omer & Corana Bertrand Jarbeau. Mrs. Clark was a retired sewing operator in the textile industry and was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Church.
Surviving include her daughter and son-in-law, Debra & Darryl Wolfe of Beech Island, SC; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Julie Clark of Winston Salem, NC; a sister, Doris Hedrick; 4 grandchildren, Lauren, Leslie, Jason & Carmen and 8 great-grandchildren, Dustin, Sarah, Karlie, Thomas, Avery, Arthur, Calvin & Daniel.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1 p.m. in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. S.W., Aiken, SC 29801 803-649-6234. A rosary service will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the George Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Help of Christian Church, 203 Park Ave. S.E., Aiken, SC 29801.
