Louise Galloway Obituary

Louise Lanza Galloway
Nov. 11, 1933 - March 11, 2014
AIKEN, SC - Our mother and "Mema," Louise Lanza Galloway of Aiken S.C., died peacefully in her home on March 11, 2014.
Though she will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends, she looked forward to reuniting with her Heavenly family that went before, including her parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. She also survived and looked forward to reuniting with her loving husbands, Tony Lanza of Aiken and Lee Galloway of Aiken.
With her help in preparing this obituary Louise wanted to say that she enjoyed life to the fullest and wanted to thank very much her loving son Russell Kevin Wooten of Aiken for putting his life on hold to care for her during her final illness. Louise is also survived by her loving daughter, Terry Wooten Salmon and son-in-law Ronnie Salmon of Aiken, who also assisted with her care. She is survived by granddaughter Ashley Salmon O'Daniel (Adam) of Rock Hill, S.C., and their sons Ayden and Asher; grandsons Zack Salmon (Michelle) of Aiken and Ryne Salmon (Presley) of North Augusta, S.C., and their son Maddux. She is also survived by nephew Bobby Weathington of Chocowinity, N.C., and special cousin Dickie Newell of Ayden, N.C.
Born Louise McLawhorn on Nov. 11, 1933 in Ayden, N.C., where she was raised and went on to raise both of her children. She graduated from the University of Miami (Fl.) and had a career in real estate as the owner of Aiken Realty Group. She traveled to many destinations around the world before retiring to Aiken, S.C. to be near her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Louise's memory to the charity of one's choice. Please join her family for a Celebration of Life luncheon to be held at Bum's Restaurant of Ayden on Saturday, March 15 at noon. Please come prepared to share happy memories and good food in her honor. Burial will be private.

Dear Terry, Kevin and Family. I'm very sorry for the lost of your mon. I always love and admire your mon, I have very good memories of her, the first day a met your mon was at the Greenville airport, she was coming for Tony's funeral, she look like a movie star to me, with her emerald color outfit, gold color raincoat, shoes an umblella, she always look great and elegant, very smart, love her a lot. I will miss her.
