Lester Edward Day
Monetta - Mr. Lester Edward Day entered into rest on Sunday February 12, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ansel and Dorothy Day; and brother, Ansel Edgar Day.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Day Clark; son, Raymond Day (Pauline); sisters, Delores Day (Jeff), Juanita (Fred) Anderson, Teresa (John) Harrington; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his beloved cat, Samantha.
Lester loved his family and loved people. He liked family get-togethers and going to the VFW on Saturday nights. He loved to be on the go, whether it was vacations or day trips. He enjoyed fixing old cars and collecting diecast cars and Betty Boop memorabilia. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
A Funeral Service, celebrating his life will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday February 16, 2023 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Tony Fulmer to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Vaucluse Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be William Day, Clint Zorn, Mark McCaskey, Philip Hatcher, Mike Rushton, and Sean Hall.
