Leslie Hartley Obituary
AIKEN - Leslie Joseph Hartley, 53, born the 14th of October 1968 to Leslie Gerald Hartley and Joann Burke Hartley, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
First he sang of the Light, Then he sang to the Light, Now he sings in the Light.
Devoted son, brother, friend, consummate fabricator of facts not factual, gifted Bass/Baritone, gourmet cook, and lover of all the finest things.
May the angels appreciate these qualities as much as we do.
He is survived by his mother, Joann Hartley, and his brother Christian Hartley.
A Funeral Liturgy will be officiated at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022, at Old Historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Park Ave., with a reception to follow in Smith Hall adjacent to the Parish.

I thought I saw him the other day and maybe it was his brother because I thought I'd remembered seeing this. I went to school with Leslie and he was quiet I see it is almost a year he has been gone I'm sorry for your loss..

Dear Joann and Christian,
I pray for God´s tender mercies and loving warmth to carry you through this time of grief. The many joyful memories of Brian, Leslie, and Christian playing games together when they were young teens are flooding back. The jokes cracking, the laughter, the "fake" foreign languages...
They´ve been soul friends for 40+ years now, and those friendships will remain forever. I will be keeping you close in my prayers. Love to you.
