Leonard Harrison Obituary
AIKEN - Mr. Leonard Harrison, 89, of Red Oak, entered into rest July 9, 2023. Funeral services will be live streamed via G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page at 2pm Friday, July 14, 2023 from Friendship Baptist Church (Richland Ave) with Rev. T.C. Edwards officiating. The remains will lie in state in the church from 1pm until the hour of service. Interment will be in the Ashley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 2pm-5:30pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Harrison was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Girtdell Harrison; a daughter, Brenda G. (Wilson) Johnson; two sons, Donald Harrison and Leonardo (Latishia) Harrison; two sisters, Ida Mae Bryant and Mary Ella (Sammie) Roundtree; three brothers, Booker T. Harrision, Ernest S. Harrison, and Steve (Sheilah) Harrison; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives.
