Leon Patterson Obituary
AIKEN - Leon C. Patterson, Sr. was born in Aiken, SC to the late Junious and Leona (Sims) Patterson, Sr. He received his education at Martha Schofield High School and served in the United States Army. Veteran of the Korean War.
Leon departed his life on August 16, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. He worked 11 years with Aiken Electric Cooperative and retired from Owens Corning after 25 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, four sons Leon Patterson, Jr., Ronnie (Jeanette) Patterson, Sr., Eric (Victoria) Patterson, Sr., and Mark (Denise) Patterson; eleven grandchildren and ten great - grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, dear cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 220 Richland Ave. (Viewing 10 a.M.-11 A.M.). Burial will be at Jordan Baptist Church Cemetery, Williston, SC
Friends may call Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home at 803-649-6123, 126 Fairfield St. SE., Aiken, SC 29801 on Monday from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M.
