Judith "Judi" (Bolen) Inabinet
Williston, SC - Judith Bolen Inabinet, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026 surrounded by her family. Judi was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, the Honorable George Lawrence Inabinet. Judi was born in Columbia, SC and lived in a variety of locations as an Army brat with her late parents, Leon and Peggy Bolen. She and Larry made Williston their home in the early 1970's. Judi graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a degree in nursing. Judi taught in the Maternal and Child Health and Fundamentals at the University of South Carolina, while working at Baptist Hospital. She later obtained a Master's in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. She then spent 28 years in public health, First, she worked as a Program Nurse Specialist for Maternal Child Health Services. From 1983 to 1999, Judi worked as the District Nursing Director of the Lower Savannah Health District (DHEC). After retiring from DHEC, Judi worked as an Adjunct Professor at USC-Aiken until 2014. Judi spent many hours on her porch at Edisto, while reading a book, working on a crossword puzzle or tracking her family's history and genealogy. She loved to garden and was known as a taskmaster to Larry, her kids, and many others. Most importantly, Judi was "Tig", short for "Tigger". To Parker, Fate and Taylor, she was Tig. Tig loved them more than anything and was so proud of their journeys through life. Tig will be greatly missed.
Judi is survived by her son, George "Beau" L. Inabinet, Jr. (Amy) of Charleston, and her daughter, Rachel Wall (Jeremy) of Williston, her grandsons, Parker Wall and Fate Wall of Williston and Taylor Inabinet of Charleston, and her brothers, James Bolen, John (Lynne) Bolen, and her sister, Joanne Hart.
In lieu of follows, memorial contributions may be given to the Williston First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 365, Williston, SC 29853.
A graveside service will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Williston Cemetery, Williston, SC with Dr. Stephen Burnette officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery on Friday.
